I'm a voice over artist come registered nurse.
You're probably thinking, it’s a random combination. So, let me explain myself.
I have worked as a nurse for over 15 years all over Australia. Throughout my life, people have often commented on my ability to understand them and the depth, calming effect and uniqueness of my voice. At first, it was odd, as I thought I sounded like every other Australian male. But, after hearing it so often, I thought there must be something there?
So, I explored a few options to see how my voice could help others. After doing some research and drawing on my knowledge of recording audio, I decided to try voice recordings. I worked with a few clients to bring their stories and scripts to life through audio and I found I loved doing it and was getting great feedback.
I’ve found the combination of a deep and strong Australian voice - allows me to deliver calm, clear, and compelling recordings. I pride myself on producing high-quality voiceovers at a reasonable price, so it’s accessible to a large audience.
Since starting, I've had the opportunity to work with different clients across many industries. This has helped improve my services, the quality of my work, and confidence in my ability.

What I love most about what I do, is the difference audio can make to someone's story. Audio is booming right now; more and more people listen to audiobooks and podcasts and use them for training and e-learning. It allows for a new dimension to storytelling. I enjoy working with new people to understand their needs and how they want their work to be delivered. I'm highly flexible, and everything I do always has the clients needs at the forefront. I want everyone to have a positive experience when they work with me and be confident that what I deliver is exactly what they're looking for.
So, you're probably still wondering how I went from being a nurse to a voice over artist. Well, the answer is simple. After having my beautiful children, I wanted a slight change of pace in my career. I wanted something that would allow me to spend more time at home. Voice recording was the perfect solution. I'd already had all the equipment and experience from working with several clients. What I didn't expect was my growing love and passion for what I was doing. I loved working with different people on various projects. It's crazy to think my voice made a huge difference to someone's business or video or audiobook. Also, the fact that I can provide people with excellent quality work without breaking the bank.
